Zitrus Garden The citrus garden is a all-year-round destination and offers a combination of a botanical garden and a deli organic shop. The botanical garden contains antique varieties from the Medici collections of the XVI century. There are rare species and exotic pieces from the Far East, Africa, America, but also newer species from the Australia. The 4000 m2 Mediterranean garden is protected against bad weather and allows visits in any weather. The outdoor tour (only in the warmer months) leads through the Mediterranean garden, which is lovingly decorated with old citrus trees, palm trees, olives and many other Mediterranean plants.From Christmas to March the biggest fruits ripen – Buddha’s hand, Maxima and Co reach over 35 cm in length and almost 3 kg in weight!
