The first-open air museum in Romania is a thematical park including some of the oldest and most valuable monuments of architecture in the Romania's ethnographical heritage.
The location is on the North-West side of Cluj, in the direction of the Hoia forest. If you travel by public transportation, you should plan for an hour to get there from the Main hotel or 40 minutes from the city center.
Location: Parcul Etnografic "Romulus Vuia" (Aleea Muzeului Etnografic). To get there from the Main Hotel you have to take bus 24/24B/34/48 for 2 stops (starting in front of the Iulius Mall), and then switch to bus 30 for 9 stops until Station "Alexandru Vlahuță". Then there will be 15 minute walk. So plan with 50 minutes transport time for this activity if you start at the Main Hotel.
